dust jacket. Original black cloth; spine
stamped in red and grey. Schulberg signed
the strip affixed to the title page. Very Good
condition. This book was made into the film of the same
title starring Humphrey Bogart and Rod Steiger. His most
noted screenplay was ON THE WATERFRONT. His more
well-known novel, the story of an avaricious Hollywood
producer, is WHAT MAKES SAMMY RUN? Budd Schulberg's
father was B. P. Schulberg, head of production at
Paramount Pictures and an important influence in the
early motion picture industry. |
